Websites for restaurants and local businesses in Torbay

We build mobile-first websites for independent restaurants, cafés, bars and local businesses in Torquay, Paignton, Brixham and Exeter. Your real menu as a web page, your opening hours, click-to-call and a booking button, live within about a week. £1,250 to build, then £75 a month to keep it online and up to date. Built in Torquay by the team behind Instant Reply.

What you get

  • A mobile-first site built from your own venue, menu and brand
  • A short film at the top of the page, shot at your venue
  • Your full menu as a real web page with prices and allergen notes, not a PDF
  • Opening hours with a live open or closed status, plus address, map and click-to-call
  • A booking button linked to the system you already use, or a simple request form if you have none
  • Space for your best reviews, offers and events
  • Page titles, descriptions and your Google Business Profile link set up for search

See the examples

Five demo sites we built for made-up local businesses, to show the standard. Open them on your phone, because that's how your customers will see yours.

  • Saltwren, a harbourside seafood kitchen: a scroll film from the day boat to the plate, a menu you can filter by allergy, and a booking request.
  • Wrenhaven Roofing: watch a storm-damaged roof come off and go back on, spot the damage, and get an instant quote.
  • Northcombe Build: a new home goes from drawings to keys as you scroll.
  • Quayvolt Electrical: a "what's tripping?" fault finder with a fuse board that reacts as you tap, plus an instant estimate.
  • Hearthcombe Heating: scroll to fire up the boiler and watch each room warm up, plus "what's that noise?" and a boiler finder.

None of these are real businesses. Every name, price and review on the demos is illustrative. Your site is built from your own business, prices and photos.

How it works

From a chat to a live site in about a week

  1. A 15-minute chat at your venue, in the quiet part of the afternoon. We look at the demo and at your current site or Facebook page side by side.
  2. We film at your venue and you send your logo, menu, prices and opening hours, plus access to your domain or your go-ahead to register one in your business's name.
  3. Live within 5 working days of the deposit, the filming and your details. You get two rounds of changes before launch.

Ownership

It's yours

Once the build is paid in full, the website, its content and the domain are yours. The domain is registered in your business's name, and footage we shoot at your venue is yours to use anywhere. If you leave the care plan, we hand over the site files and help you move it.

The site stores no card details or customer records, and sets no tracking or advertising cookies unless visitors agree first.

Pair it with Instant Reply

A better website brings more calls. Don't miss them.

If you can't pick up during service, Instant Reply texts every missed caller back within about ten seconds in your name and sends you the details, so the booking or the enquiry stays with you. How missed call text back works.

Questions

Website questions

How long does a website take?

It goes live within 5 working days of the last of these: the deposit is paid, the filming is done, and you've sent your logo, menu, prices, hours and domain details.

What does the £75 a month cover?

Hosting, the SSL certificate, security updates, backups, domain renewal at cost, and up to 30 minutes of changes each month, such as a new menu, prices, hours, offers or events. It runs month to month with 30 days' notice.

Do I own the website and the domain?

Yes. Once the build is paid in full, the site, its content and the domain are yours. The domain is registered in your business's name.

How do I change my menu or prices?

Send us the changes and they're made as part of the care plan, up to 30 minutes a month. Bigger changes are quoted before any work starts.

Can it link to my booking system?

Yes. The booking button links to the system you already use. If you don't have one, we add a simple booking request form.

Do you only build for restaurants?

Restaurants, cafés and bars are where we started. We also build for salons, garages, clinics and trades.

Which areas do you cover?

We visit venues in Torquay, Paignton, Brixham and Exeter. Elsewhere in Devon, ask and we'll see what we can do.
